     This size, style, and geometry of knife is what I have developed to be a very effective tool when field dressing, caping, and processing wild game. The added benefit of hunting knives is they are also perfect everyday carry knives as well.      This Custom Apex specs:
-8 1/8” overall length 
-3 5/8” cutting edge 
-Cru-Forge-V steel. A high performance steel with great edge retention. (Also a very rare steel as it has been out of production for almost 20 years.)
-Parkerized finish for corrosion resistance and that matte black look.
-Handle is sculpted from a fantastic piece of stabilized box elder Burl. A beautiful wood that pairs well with the dark blade finish.
